Note In order to activate the watch, it must be paired with a capable smartphone. Once the initial pairing is complete, if the watch is to be used as a stand-alone device, it must have its own mobile number and be provisioned with the appropriate 'Connected Devices with Voice' SFO. For more info refer to Codes/Pricing: The Verizon Plan. To add a new line of service, transfer to Telesales using CTI.

Caution IMPORTANT Caution If your watch is first time out of the box, refer to First time setup and activation - out of the box experience. The instructions below only apply to a watch that has been previously activated.

Note To perform the steps below, you need to:

  • ensure your smartphone is running Android OS 4.3 (or higher) or iOS 9 (or higher).
    Note You can navigate to the Wear OS by Google website using your smartphone to verify compatibility.
  • ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth feature is turned on.
  • ensure the Wear OS by Google app is installed (Android, Apple iOS) and updated (Android, Apple iOS) on your smartphone.
  • keep the watch near your smartphone throughout the entire process.

Follow these steps on your watch to begin the pairing process:

  1. Tap the display to begin.
  2. Tap the desired language.
  3. To continue, tap the Check mark icon Check mark icon to agree to the Verizon Privacy Policy.
    Note To review the policy, notate the web address (URL) then navigate to the site using your companion smartphone or a computer.
  4. Swipe up to display the watch name/code.

Follow these steps on your companion smartphone to complete the pairing process:

  1. Open the Wear OS by Google app.
  2. Tap SET IT UP to begin.
  3. To continue, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap AGREE (lower-right).
  4. If prompted to turn on location, tap TURN ON > ALLOW.
  5. If prompted to enable bluetooth sharing, tap ENABLE > OK.
  6. Select the appropriate watch name.
    Note If necessary, view the watch display for the correct name.
    Note If necessary, tap the Refresh icon Refresh icon.
  7. When prompted, tap Pair or OK.
    Note If necessary, view the watch display for the correct code then tap CONFIRM.
    Note Allow several minutes for the process to complete.

Follow these steps on your companion smartphone to complete initial setup:

  1. If presented, ensure the desired Google account(s) are turned on then tap NEXT.
  2. If presented, tap COPY to send the info to the watch.
  3. Enter the appropriate password for each account.
  4. From the Stay connected to Wi-Fi screen, tap CONNECT (lower-right).
  5. If presented, complete all remaining steps (e.g., Chat with your friends, Peek at your schedule, etc.) by selecting the appropriate option(s).
  6. From the You're all set screen, tap DONE (lower-right).

If prompted with the Get Connected screen on your watch, refer to Activate Data Service to add a line of service.
When prompted to Set up calling on your watch, do one of the following:

  • Tap Not now to use the watch as an accessory.
  • Refer to Calling Setup to set up voice and messaging services.
