Wear24™ - Restart / Soft Reset

Soft reset can resolve issues like continuous resetting / rebooting, device crashing, freezing, won't ring or vibrate, can't make or receive calls, device locks up and screen doesn't respond.

Note Notes:

  • A soft reset (turning the device off then back on) is similar to restarting a desktop computer and is one of the first steps in troubleshooting a device.
  • In most cases, a soft reset won't affect data on the device unless the battery is very low.

  1. From the Home screen, press the Power button to display the menu.
    Note The Power button is located on the right edge.
    Note If the watch is unresponsive/frozen, press and hold the Power button for approximately 12 seconds or until the watch power cycles.

  2. Tap Settings Settings icon.
  3. Tap System System icon.
  4. Tap Restart Restart icon.
  5. Tap the Check mark icon Check mark icon to confirm.
