Add/Remove Account Members - Usage Controls

Caution This info only applies if you currently subscribe to Usage Controls, as this add-on is retired and can't be re-activated once removed.  For info on our current family safeguards add-on, see our Verizon Smart Family™ FAQs.

 

Note Notes:

  • These steps do not apply to Prepaid accounts.
  • Only the Account Owner or an Account Manager with full online access can manage Usage Controls.

 

Add a Member

  1. Navigate: My Verizon > My Plans & Services > Manage Verizon Family Safeguards & Controls.
  2. Click View & Manage Dashboard.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Nicknames & roles.
  5. Enter a nickname and then select a role from drop down.
    Member is selected when role is presented.
  6. Click Save my changes.

 

Remove a Member

  1. Navigate: My Verizon > My Plans & Services > Manage Verizon Family Safeguards & Controls.
  2. Click View Manage Dashboard.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Nicknames & roles.
  5. From drop down select Not Assigned.
  6. Click Save my changes.
