Verizon Security & Privacy - Android™ - Uninstall

Note Settings option titles may slightly differ between Android models.

  1. From a Home screen navigate: Apps icon > Settings.
  2. Tap Lock Screen and Security.
    This option may vary (e.g., Security, Fingerprints & security, etc.)
  3. If necessary, tap Other Security Settings.
  4. Under the Phone Administration section, tap Phone Administrators.
    Note Alternative path, under the Device Administration section, tap Device administrators.
  5. Tap Security & Privacy.
  6. Tap Deactivate.
  7. Verify Support & Protection is deactivated.
    Note Deactivated when the switch is turned off Off Switch.
  8. Return to a Home screen then navigate: Apps icon > Settings.
  9. If necessary, tap Apps.
  10. Tap App Manager or Application Manager.
  11. Tap Support & Protection.
  12. Tap Disable or Uninstall.
  13. Tap Disable App (e.g., OK, Yes, etc.).
  14. If the Premium service was purchased, sign in to My Verizon from a computer.
  15. Navigate: My Plan & Services > Manage Products & Apps.
  16. Click Manage Your Products.
  17. In the Verizon Security & Privacy, section click Remove From Account.
  18. Follow the on screen prompts.
