Request Refund for Downloaded App - Android Smartwatch - Google Play™ Store

Note Notes:

  • For further assistance, refer to the Google Play Help Center.
  • To perform the steps below, you need to:
    • use an Android Smartphone as your companion device.
      Note If your watch is paired with an iPhone, the option to request app refunds via the Play Store isn't available.
    • ensure the Wear OS by Google app is installed and updated on your smartphone.
    • ensure bluetooth is enabled on both the watch and smartphone.
    • keep the watch near your smartphone throughout the entire process.

 

  1. From the Play Store home screen, swipe down from the top of the display to reveal the menu.
  2. Tap the My Apps icon My apps icon (on the left).
  3. Select the appropriate app.
  4. Tap More info (may require scrolling to the bottom).
  5. Tap Open on phone.

 

Follow the steps below using your companion smartphone:

Purchased Less 2 Hours Ago

  1. Tap Refund.
  2. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete your refund and uninstall the app.

 

Purchased More Than 2 Hours Ago

  1. From the "Developer" section (located at the bottom; may require scrolling), tap Send email.
  2. Enter the refund request and reason then tap Send.
