Turn App Permissions On / Off - Samsung Galaxy J7 V / Galaxy J7

App permissions give you the ability to customize and control which capabilities you give apps. You can pick and choose which permissions to grant apps at the time of use.

Note Turning off certain permissions may result in basic features no longer working as intended.

To turn permissions on or off for installed apps:

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up then navigate: Settings Settings icon > Apps Apps settings icon.
  2. Tap the appropriate app (e.g. Cloud).
  3. From the App Settings section, tap Permissions.
  4. Tap any of the available permissions (e.g., Camera, Contacts, Location, etc.) to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
Note If turning off a permission, from the "If you deny this permission..." prompt, select Cancel or Deny.
