Remove Saved Fingerprints - Samsung Galaxy Note5

Note Notes:

  • A fingerprint is utilized to unlock the device.
  • For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and free of moisture, dirt, oil, lotion, dyes, etc.
  • Up to four fingerprints can be registered on the device.

 

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Lock screen and security.
  2. Tap Fingerprints.
    Note If prompted, enter the current PIN, password, or pattern
  3. From the Manage fingerprints section, tap EDIT (located on the right).
  4. Select the fingerprint(s) to remove.
    Note Selected when a checkmark is present.
    Note To select all fingerprints, tap All (located in the upper-left).
  5. Tap REMOVE (located in the upper-right).
  6. Tap REMOVE to confirm.
