Samsung Gear S3 frontier / Gear S3 classic - Manage Data Usage

To change the data usage cycle on your watch, view data usage and set data limits, view this info.

Note Data usage info provided by the watch may differ from actual usage. For data usage info provided by Verizon Wireless, call #DATA (#3282) from the watch or refer to the My Verizon website.

Set Data Limit

Caution Cellular data is disabled upon reaching the specified data limit. To continue to utilize apps dependant upon a data connection (e.g., Play Store), a Wi-Fi connection can be used or Cellular data must be manually re-enabled (overage charges may apply).

  1. From the watch screen, press the Home button to open the apps screen.

  2. Tap Settings Settings icon.
  3. Tap Connections.
  4. Tap Data usage.
  5. Tap Data usage limit to turn on.
    Note If prompted, review the notification then tap the Check mark icon Check mark icon to confirm.
    Note On when a blue line is present.
  6. Select the desired level (e.g., 5.00 GB) then tap SET.

Change Data Usage Cycle

  1. From the watch screen, press the Home button to open the apps screen.

  2. Tap Settings Settings icon.
  3. Tap Connections.
  4. Tap Data usage.
  5. Tap Data usage cycle then select one of the following timeframes:
    • Monthly (default and most common)
    • Weekly
    • Daily
  6. Tap Start date.
  7. Select the appropriate date.
    Note Refer to the My Verizon website for billing cycle date.

  1. From the watch screen, press the Home button to open the apps screen.

  2. Tap Settings Settings icon.
  3. Tap Connections.
  4. Tap Data usage.
  5. Tap Usage details.
  6. View the App usage.
