SmartHub with Voice - MAC Filtering

Caution Caution:

  • MAC Filter is an advanced feature. Contact your local IT administrator prior to altering this setting.
  • If turned on, only the devices added to the MAC address filter list can access the SmartHub's primary Wi-Fi network.

Note This MAC filter has no effect on the guest Wi-Fi network.

  1. Log into the Admin Web Interface.
  2. From the Smarthub Home screen, click Connected Devices.
  3. From Connections, select the appropriate device from the Filter menu (located on the left).

  4. To MAC filter a device do the following:
    1. From Devices connected to SmartHub, click the Dropdown arrowDropdown menu iconto view details.
      Note Any currently connected device appears in the list.
    2. Click the Completely Block this Device switch to turn blocking on Switch on then click Save.
  5. To restrict a connected device do the following:
    1. Click Time Restrictions switch to turn on Switch on or off Switch off then enter the desired info (e.g., Start, Finish, days of the week, etc.).
    2. Click Save.
