Note Notes:

  • To share media files, an active Wi-Fi connection must be established.
  • To play or copy media to/from other devices (e.g., computer, TV, etc.), they must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and may need to be configured for sharing. Refer to the equipment manufacturer for assistance.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings Apps icon > More.
    Note These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
  2. From the Media share section, tap Nearby devices.
  3. Tap the Nearby devices switch (located in the upper right) to turn on Switch on or off Off indicator.
    Note If presented with Nearby devices screen requesting access to device, tap OK to allow access.
  4. From the Advanced section, tap Content to share.
  5. Select any of the following to enable or disable then tap OK.
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
    • Videos
    • Photos
    • Music
  6. From the Advanced section, tap Allowed devices.
  7. If appropriate, tap any of device(s) listed. then Tap
    Note Tap Delete to remove a device from the Allowed devices list; otherwise, tap Cancel.
    Note When deleting a device: from the 'Nearby devices' prompt, tap OK to restart.
  8. From the Advanced section, tap Blocked devices.
    Note If appropriate, tap any of device(s) listed then tap Delete to remove the device from the Not-allowed devices list; otherwise, tap Cancel.
    Note When deleting a device file sharing must be restarted (turn off Off indicator 'Nearby devices' then turn back on Switch on) to add the device to the Allowed device list.
  9. From the Advanced section, tap Receive files from other devices then select one of the following:.
    • Always accept
    • Always ask
    • Always reject
