My Verizon app - Set Up Call Forwarding

Note Notes:

  • Ensure your app is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.
  • The My Verizon app is only available for Android™ devices running 5.0 or higher and Apple® iOS devices running 11.0 or higher. For all other devices, visit to sign in and manage your account.
  • Changes to these items may take up to 15 minutes to appear on your account.
  • Available settings vary based on user type (e.g., Account Owner, Account Manager, Account Member).

  1. From the Home screen tap the My Verizon app or navigate: Apps > My Verizon.
  2. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (upper-left) then tap Devices.
  3. Tap the Manage (below the wireless number you want to update).
  4. From the 'Here's what's happening with your device' screen, tap the Controls tab (upper-left).
    Note The Controls tab is selected when the text is in red.
  5. Tap Set up Call Forwarding.
  6. From the 'Re-direct your calls to a different number' page, enter a 10-digit phone number then tap Add number (at the bottom).
    Note To remove a forwarded number, tap the X (to the right of the number).
  7. Tap the Back icon Back arrow (upper-left) to return to the 'Keep an eye on your lines' screen or press the Home button to exit.
