Configure Settings - SmartHub with Voice - Verizon Home App

  1. Tap Verizon Home SmartHub app icon.
  2. From the Dashboard, tap Settings SmartHub app settings icon (located at the bottom).

  3. From Settings, view the current software version or select any of the following:
    SmartHub app Settings
    Alerts & History
    Set Up SmartHub
    Help and FAQ's
    About SmartHub
    Send Feedback
    Sign out

 

Alerts & History

  1. Tap Alerts & History.
  2. Tap the Alerts tab to view alert options for connected devices.
  3. From the Alerts tab, select the appropriate device then tap the switch to turn alerts on Verizon Home app on switch or off Verizon Home app off switch.
    Note The image below is an example (options vary by device).

  4. Tap the History tab to view recent alerts.

Set Up SmartHub

  1. Tap Setup SmartHub.
    Note This option is visible to the owner and users added as admins. Refer to Add a User for additional details.
  2. From Setup SmartHub, select one of the following:
    Note If presented with a permission request tap Continue to setup.
    • Brand new SmartHub
      1. From Setup SmartHub, select Brand New SmartHub then tap Next.

      2. From Setup SmartHub, select your SmartHub from the list, enter the password then tap Next.

      3. Refer to Initial Activation and Setup to continue setup.
    • Replacement SmartHub (restore backed up information).
      1. From Setup SmartHub, select Replacement SmartHub then tap Next.

      2. From Setup SmartHub, select your SmartHub from the list enter the password then tap Next.

      3. Refer to Returning User Log In to continue setup.

About SmartHub

  1. From Settings, tap About Smarthub.
  2. From About SmartHub, view the Model Number.

  3. Tap Factory Reset this SmartHub then tap Reset this SmartHub to continue.
  4. Tap Remove this SmartHub then tap Remove this SmartHub to continue

From Settings, tap Send Feedback.
Note Select the appropriate email account from the options presented.

From Settings, tap Sign out.
Note Refer to Returning User Log In to sign in to the Verizon Home app.
