If you're not receiving email and app notifications, follow these steps to check your account sync settings.

Caution Frequent account synchronization can have a negative impact on battery life.

  1. From a Home screen, tap the Arrow icon Up arrow to apps to access all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Users & accounts Users & accounts.
  3. Tap the account type (e.g., Cloud, Email, Google, etc.).
  4. If presented, tap the appropriate email address from the Accounts section.
    Note Multiple accounts may appear.
  5. Tap Account sync.
  6. Tap the Menu icon Menu Settings icon and tap Sync now.
