Add a User Account - Samsung Galaxy Tab S3

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Accounts (left pane) > Users (right pane).
  3. From the Users and profiles section (right pane), tap Add user or profile.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • To add a full access user account:
      Note This account type allows users to access their own apps and content.
      1. Tap User.
      2. Tap OK to confirm.
      3. Tap NOT NOW.
    • To add a restricted access user account:
      Note This account type allows users limited access to apps and content.
      1. Tap User (restricted profile).
      2. Tap SET UP SCREEN LOCK.
      3. Follow these instructions (to set up screen lock) prior to continuing with the next step.
      4. From the Application/content restrictions section, configure the restrictions as desired.
        Note Turn on Switch on to allow access to an app or turn off Switch off to restrict access.
  5. To set up the new user account:
    1. Tap the appropriate user name from the Users and profiles section.
      Note If necessary, swipe up or down from the center of a Home screen then navigate: Settings Settings icon > Accounts (left pane) > Users (right pane).
    2. Tap SET UP NOW.
      Note The device logs out of the current user account and into the new account.
    3. If applicable, set up your device.
