Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 - Enable / Disable App

If apps cause your device to crash, freeze, lock up or reset itself, this info may help.

Note This option is available for some apps that can't be uninstalled.

Caution Disabling an app may cause related apps to function improperly.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Apps (left pane).
  3. From the right pane:
  • To enable an app:
    1. Locate then tap the app name (e.g., Cloud).
      Note If system apps aren't visible, tap the Menu icon Menu (upper-right) then tap Show system apps.
    2. Tap ENABLE.
  • To disable an app:
    1. Locate then tap the app name (e.g., Cloud).
      Note If system apps aren't visible, tap the Menu icon Menu (upper-right) then tap Show system apps.
    2. Tap FORCE STOP.
    3. Tap FORCE STOP to confirm.
    4. Tap DISABLE.
    5. Tap DISABLE to confirm.
