Remove Saved Fingerprints - Samsung Galaxy Tab S3

Note Notes:

  • A fingerprint is utilized to unlock the device.
  • For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and free of moisture, dirt, oil, lotion, dyes, etc.
  • Up to four fingerprints can be registered on the device.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Biometrics and security (left pane).
  3. From the Biometrics section (in the right pane), tap Fingerprint scanner.
    Note If presented, enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  4. From the Manage fingerprints section (in the right pane), tap EDIT (upper-right).
  5. Select the fingerprint(s) to remove.
    Note Selected when a check mark is present.
    Note To select all fingerprints, tap All (at the top).
  6. Tap REMOVE (upper-right).
  7. Tap REMOVE to confirm.
