moto e4 - Set Up Corporate Email (Exchange ActiveSync®)

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Accounts.
  3. Tap Add account.
  4. Tap Corporate.
  5. Enter your corporate email address then tap the Next icon Next icon (located in the lower-right).
  6. Enter your password then tap the Next icon.
    Note If setup is unsuccessful, tap Manual setup then set up manually (begin with step 5).
  7. If presented with a 'Remote security administration' prompt, tap OK.
  8. Configure the account options (e.g., Sync frequency, etc.) as necessary then tap the Next icon.
  9. If presented with an 'Activate device administrator' screen, tap Activate this device administrator.
  10. If presented, set up a secure screen lock, select an option then tap Done (located in the lower-right):
    • Show all notification content
    • Hide sensitive notification content
    • Don't show notifications at all
  11. If presented with an 'Encrypt phone' prompt, review the info then tap Encrypt phone.
    Note Follow the on-screen steps to complete the applied security policy (e.g., Set up password, Device encryption).
    Note Device encryption can exceed 60 minutes.
  12. If desired, enter an account name then tap the Next icon.
