Register via My Verizon app (Prepaid)

Note Notes:

  • App is available to registered and new users on the new and grandfathered $40, $50, $60, $70 and $80 smartphone plans.
  • Ensure your app is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.
  • The My Verizon app is only available for Android™ devices running 5.0 or higher and Apple® iOS devices running 11.0 or higher. For all other devices, visit to sign in and manage your account.

  1. If needed, install - My Verizon app.
  2. Open the My Verizon app.
  3. If prompted, enter the device's mobile number then tap Next.
  4. Enter the account PIN then tab Next.
    • If you forgot the PIN:
    1. Tap Forgot to receive a temp PIN via SMS.
    2. Enter the temporary PIN then tap Next.
    3. Enter a new account PIN then tap Next.
    4. Enter the new account PIN to confirm then tap Next.
  5. From the 'Let's get started' screen, enter the following info:
    • User ID
    • Greeting Name
    • Email address
  6. To continue, tap I Agree to the Terms and Conditions then tap Next.
    Note A text message with a temporary password is sent to your default messaging app.
  7. From the 'Check your texts' screen, tap Sign in.
  8. Enter the following info in the applicable fields then tap Sign in.
    Note If desired, tap the 'Remember me' checkbox.
    • User ID or Mobile Number
    • Temporary Password
  9. From the 'Create a new password' screen, enter and re-enter a new password then tap Submit.
    Note Passwords must be 8-20 characters and use at least 1 number and 1 letter.
  10. If presented with a 'Set Security Question' screen, enter the appropriate info then tap Next.
  11. If available on your device, to turn on Touch ID, tap Turn on.
    Note To continue, tap I agree to the Terms and Conditions then tap Next.
