My Verizon app (Prepaid) - Manage Security Settings

  • App is available to registered and new users on the new and grandfathered $40, $50, $60, $70 and $80 smartphone plans.
  • Ensure your app is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.
  • The My Verizon app is only available for Android™ devices running 4.0 or higher and Apple® iOS devices running 10.0 or higher. For all other devices, visit to sign in and manage your account.
  • Available settings vary based on user type (e.g., Account Owner, Account Member).


  1. If needed, Download & Install - My Verizon App - Android® & iOS.
  2. From the Home screen tap the My Verizon app or navigate: Apps > My Verizon.
  3. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (located in the upper-left) then tap Account.

  4. If prompted, enter your My Verizon password then tap Sign in.
  5. Tap Account Settings.

  6. Tap the Security tab.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to update any of the following:
    Note Changes may take up to 15 minutes to appear on your account.
    • Edit User ID
    • Change Account PIN
    • Change password
    • Change security question
    • Change Voicemail PIN
