Master Reset - Kyocera DuraXVLTE

Caution A factory data reset:

  • is the last resort for troubleshooting.
  • erases all data and restores preferences to factory default specifications.
  • is only recommended when the existing data has been backed up or is unwanted.

 

Note An alternate reset method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.

  1. From the main screen, select Menu.
    Note Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

  5. Select Security.

  6. Select Reset Phone.

  7. Enter your lock screen code or the last 4 digits of your mobile number then select OK

  8. To continue, review the erase data info then press the right soft key to choose Next.

  9. Select an option to erase the SD card (memory card).

    • Yes
    Select an Option
  10. Select Reset.
    Note To set up the device after completing the factory data reset, refer to Initial Activation and Setup.
