Modify Device Profile - Cold Chain

  1. Sign in to the Cold Chain portal.
  2. Click the Device tab.

  3. Select the appropriate profile then click the Edit icon.

  4. Modify any of the following option then click Save.
    • Profile Attributes
      • This section allows adjustment of the device thresholds of the parameters enabled in from the Organization tab. Either a minimum and maximum value can be entered in the entry boxes or the vertical sliders can be adjusted.
    • Locations
      • This section allows the creation of circular geo fences. Alerts can be be created for these geo points. Control of mailing these alerts is adjusted in the ‘Organization’ tab. The geo points are created by clicking the + button, then entering the longitude and latitude coordinates. Once the user clicks off these entry fields, a reverse lookup displays the corresponding address. The next box is freeform text for identification of that specific geo point in alert messages. The final entry field is the radius of the geo point. 500 meters is the default which is approximately 3/10 of a mile
    • Frequency
      • There are 3 parameters which control the data collection and transmission of the devices:
        • Receive GPS communications is the frequency the device powers on the GPS sensor to determined it’s longitude and latitude.

        • Receive communication is how often the device records the internal sensors measurements.

        • Send communications controls how often the cellular signal is activated to send all the recorded and saved data.
