Send Funds via My Verizon app (Prepaid)

Note Notes:

  • Sending funds is only available to customers on a Verizon Prepaid Family Account.
    • Account Owners can send funds to any line on their account.
    • Account Members can only send funds from their available balance to the Account Owner.
  • Ensure your app is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.
  • The My Verizon app is only available for Android® devices running 4.0 or higher and Apple® iOS devices running 10.0 or higher. For all other devices, visit verizonwireless.com to sign in and manage your account.

 

  1. If needed, Download & Install - My Verizon App - Android® & iOS.
  2. From the Home screen tap the My Verizon app or navigate: Apps > My Verizon.
  3. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (located in the upper-left) then tap Payment.

  4. If prompted, enter your My Verizon password tap Next.
    Note If you forgot the account password tap Forgot.
  5. From the Payment Methods tab, tap Send funds.
  6. Select the line you want to send funds to then tap Next.
    Note Account owners can send funds to any line, account members can only send funds to the account owner.

  7. Select one of the following payment methods then tap Next:
    • Use current card
    • Use a new credit or debit card
    • Use a refill card
      Note Up to 4 refill cards can be saved.
    • Use your balance
      Note Available balance is displayed, this option deducts funds from your line.
  8. Enter the amount of money you want to send then tap Next.
  9. Review the funds transfer info then tap Confirm.
    Note If anything is incorrect, tap Cancel.
