Google Pixel 2 - Reset Network Settings

If you can't connect to the internet, send or receive email and / or messages (text, picture or video), resetting the network settings may help.

Caution The following are cleared or restored to default values:

  • Cellular and Wi-Fi network settings (including saved networks and passwords)
  • Bluetooth® connections


  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings app icon > System System icon > Advanced.
  3. Tap Reset options Reset icon.
  4. Choose from the following:
    • Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth
    • Reset app preferences
    • Erase all data (factory reset)
  5. Tap Reset settings.
    Note If prompted, enter the PIN, password or pattern.
  6. Tap Reset settings to confirm.
