ZTE Blade™ Vantage - Manage Data Usage

Note Notes:

  • Data usage info provided by the device may differ from actual usage. For data usage info provided by Verizon, refer to the My Verizon website.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings.
  2. Tap Data usage then do one of the following:
    • Set Mobile Data Limit:
      Caution Mobile / cellular data is disabled upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the red limit line. To continue to utilize apps dependant upon a data connection (e.g., Browser, Email, Market, etc.), Wi-Fi can be used or mobile data must be manually adjusted (overage charges may apply).
    1. Tap Limit to turn on Switch on.
      Note If prompted, review the notification then tap OK to confirm.
    2. The default limit is set to 5GB, to change the limit:
      1. Tap Mobile data usage.
      2. Tap the Gear icon Settings icon (upper-right).
      3. Enter the desired limit (e.g., 2GB, 500 MB, etc.) then tap SET.
    • Set Mobile Data Warning:
       Note A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the gray warning line.
      1. Tap Alert me to turn on Switch on.
        Note If prompted, review the notification then tap OK to confirm.
      2. The default limit is set to 2GB, to change the limit:
        1. Tap Mobile data usage.
        2. Tap the Gear icon Settings icon (upper-right).
        3. Enter the desired limit (e.g., 4GB) then tap SET.
    • Change Data Usage Cycle:
      1. Tap Billing cycle.
      2. Tap Billing cycle again, configure the usage cycle date then tap SET.
        Note Refer to the My Verizon website for the billing cycle date.
