Verizon Smart Family™ - Website - Pause or Resume Internet Connectivity

Note To perform the steps below, content filters must be set up.

  1. From a web browser, sign in to My Verizon.
    Line note If using a smartphone or tablet, refer to the Android® or Apple® iOS instructions.
  2. From the My Verizon home screen, navigate: Plan > My Plan & Services > Manage Verizon Smart Family.
  3. From the list of devices (at the top), ensure the appropriate mobile number (that the pause or resume should be applied to) is selected.
  4. From the left menu, click Content filters to expand.
  5. Click Browsing security.
  6. From the 'Browsing security' screen, you can perform the following:
    • To suspend internet access until you choose to resume, tap Pause Internet (upper-right).
    • To restore internet access, tap Resume Internet (upper-right).
