Verizon Smart Family™ - Website - Remove Service

Caution Removing Smart Family service removes existing limits, filters, restrictions, etc. from all lines on the account.

Note To perform the steps below, you need to:

  • use a desktop or laptop computer with an updated web browser (e.g., Chrome™, Edge, Safari®,etc.).
  • sign in using a My Verizon user ID or mobile number that has Account Owner or Manager access privileges.

  1. From a web browser, sign in to My Verizon.
  2. From the My Verizon home screen, navigate: Plan > My Plan & Services > Manage Products & Apps.
  3. Click the Manage Your Products tab.
  4. From the list of mobile numbers (at the top), ensure the appropriate number (the Account Owner) is selected.
  5. From the Verizon Smart Family section, click Remove From Account (upper-right).
  6. Select Remove Verizon Smart Family then click Remove
  7. To confirm, review the disclaimer then click Yes, I want to unsubscribe.
    Line note It may take up to 24 hours before Smart Family is completely removed.
