View / Restrict Data Usage by App - Brigadier™ by Kyocera

Caution Some apps depend upon background data (transferring data when not directly in use). Restricting background data may cause those apps to stop functioning unless a Wi-Fi connection is available.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings.
  2. From the Wireless & networks section, tap Data Usage.
  3. Tap an app (below the usage graph) then view the usage.
    Note To restrict the app from using data in the background, tap the Restrict background data switch (at the bottom; may require scrolling) to turn on Switch on indicator.
  4. From the 'This feature may cause an app...' prompt, tap OK.
