Check from Your Phone via the Visual Voicemail app

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    Note These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Tap Voicemail Visual Voice Mail icon.
  3. Linote If necessary, tap Verizon then tap Voicemail.
  4. From the Visual Voicemail inbox, tap Menu Menu icon (upper-right).
  5. Tap Refresh.

Check from Your Phone (If No Data or Wi-Fi Connection is Available)

  1. From a Home screen, tap Phone Phone icon (lower-left).
    Note If not available, swipe up or down from the center of the display then tap Phone Phone icon.
  2. Touch and hold the number 1.
    Note If necessary, tap Keypad (lower-left).
    Note Alternatively, enter *86 (*VM) then tap the Phone icon Phone icon (at the bottom).
  3. If prompted, enter the Voicemail password then press the # key.

Check from a Different Phone or when Outside the Verizon Wireless Coverage Area

  1. Call your 10-digit mobile number.
    Note If dialing from an international location, refer to Place an International Call for additional assistance.
  2. As soon as the Voicemail greeting starts, press the # key then enter the Voicemail password.
    Note If prompted, re-enter the mobile number.
