Samsung Galaxy S9 / S9+ - Auto Switch Between Wi-Fi & Mobile Data Networks
When enabled, this advanced setting allows the device to switch from a weak or unstable Wi-Fi network to the Verizon Wireless cellular network to preserve consistent data throughput.
This function is not enabled by default; the device prompts the user to enable the feature the first time they experience poor Wi-Fi connectivity .
When connected to the Verizon Wireless cellular network, data overage charges may apply (depending upon data plan). For data usage info, call #DATA (#3282) from the device or refer to the My Verizon website.
From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
Navigate: Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi.
Tap Advanced (upper-right).
Tap the Switch to mobile data switch to turn on or off .
