To change the data usage cycle on your device, view data usage and set data warnings and restrictions, view this info.

Caution Data usage info provided by the device may differ from actual usage. For data usage info provided by Verizon Wireless, dial #DATA (#3282) from the device or refer to the My Verizon website.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Network & internet Network & internet icon > Data usage.

Set Mobile Data Limit

Caution Mobile data (cellular data) is disabled upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the orange limit line. To continue to utilize apps dependent upon a data connection (e.g., Browser, Email, Market, etc.), a Wi-Fi connection can be used or Mobile data must be manually re-enabled (overage charges may apply).

  1. Tap App data usage.
  2. Tap the Gear icon Gear icon (upper-right).
  3. Tap Limit to turn on Switch on.
  4. Enter the preferred data limit (e.g., 2.0GB) then tap Set.

Set Mobile Data Warning

Note A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the black warning line.

  1. Tap App data usage.
  2. Tap the Gear icon Gear icon (upper-right).
  3. Tap Alert me to turn on Switch on.
  4. Enter the preferred data amount (e.g., 2.0 GB) then tap Set.

Change Data Usage Cycle

  1. Tap App data usage cycle.
  2. From the 'Usage cycle reset date' prompt, select the cycle date then tap Set.
    Note Refer to the My Verizon website for billing cycle date.

  1. Tap App data usage.
  2. Tan app (below the usage graph).
  3. View the usage info.
