moto g6 - Manage Do Not Disturb Settings

Note Notes:

  • The Interruptions feature allows sound/vibration (for phone calls, messages, etc.) to be turned on or off as preferred.
  • Alarms are always considered priority interruptions.

Manage Priority Interruptions

  1. From a Home screen, tap the Arrow up icon Arrow up icon to display all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Sound (Device section).
  3. Tap Do not disturb preferences.
    Note To change the Do not disturb setting, follow these steps.
  4. Tap Priority only allows.
  5. Tap any of the following switch(es) to turn on Switch on or off Off indicator:
    • Reminders
    • Events
    • Repeat Callers
  6. Tap any of the following then select an option (e.g., From anyone, From contacts only, etc.):
    • Messages
    • Calls
  7. Tap the Arrow icon Arrow icon (upper-left).
  8. In the Automatic Rules section, tap any of the following then configure as desired (e.g., Rule name, Start time, etc.):
    • Rule name
    • Days
    • Start time
    • End time
    • Do not disturb
    • Alarm can override end time
  9. Tap the switch next to the desired rule(s) to turn on or off.

Turn Do Not Disturb On or Off

  1. Swipe down twice from the top of a Home screen.
  2. To change to Do not disturb, tap the current setting (Total silence, Alarms only, Priority only) once. Otherwise, tap twice.
  3. Tap the preferred setting.
  4. Select one of the following:
    • Until you turn this off
    • For one hour
      Note Increase or decrease this time frame using the Add icon or Minus icon icons (located to the right).
  5. Tap DONE (lower-right).
