moto g6 - Set Up Corporate Email (Exchange ActiveSync®)

  1. From a Home screen, tap the Arrow up icon Arrow up icon to display all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Users & accounts.
  3. Tap Add account.
  4. Tap Corporate.
  5. Enter your corporate email address then tap the Next icon Next icon (lower-right).
  6. Enter your password then tap the Next.
    Note If prompted, tap CONTINUE to confirm.
    Note If set up is unsuccessful, it can be set up manually (begin with step 7).
  7. If presented with a Remote security administration prompt, tap OK to confirm.
  8. Configure the account options (e.g., Sync frequency, etc.) as necessary then tap Next.
  9. If presented with an Activate device administrator screen, tap Activate.
    Note Follow the on-screen steps to complete the applied security policy (e.g., Set up password, Device encryption).
    Note Device encryption can exceed 60 minutes. If prompted, connect your phone to a charging device to begin (battery charge must be at 80% or greater).
  10. If desired, enter an account name then tap Next.
