LG G7 ThinQ™ - Manage Data Usage

To change the data usage cycle on your device, view data usage and set data warnings and limits, view this info.

Note Data usage info provided by the device may differ from actual usage. For data usage info provided by Verizon Wireless, refer to the My Verizon website.

Set Mobile Data Limit

Caution Mobile data (cellular data) is disabled upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the red limit line. To continue to utilize apps dependant upon a data connection (e.g., Browser, Email, Market, etc.), a Wi-Fi connection can be used or Mobile data must be manually re-enabled (overage charges may apply).

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Settings Settings icon > Network & Internet > Data usage (Wireless Networks section).
  2. Tap Limit mobile data usage to turn on Switch on.
    Note If prompted, review the notification then tap OK to confirm.
  3. Adjust the data usage limit line to the desired limit.

Set Mobile Data Warning

Note A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the grey warning line.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Settings Settings icon > Network & Internet > Data usage (Wireless Networks section).
  2. Tap Alert me about data usage to turn on Switch on.
    Note If prompted, review the notification then tap OK to confirm.
  3. Adjust the data usage limit notification line to the desired limit.

Change Data Usage Cycle

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Settings Settings icon > Network & Internet > Data usage (Wireless Networks section).
  2. Tap Billing cycle dropdown menu.
  3. Tap Change cycle.
  4. Configure the cycle date then tap SET.
    Note Refer to the My Verizon website for billing cycle date.

View Data Usage by App

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Settings Settings icon > Network & Internet > Data usage (Wireless Networks section).
  2. Select an app (below the usage graph).
  3. View the usage info.
