How to Use Multi window

Turn Multi window On / Off

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    Note These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Advanced features.
  3. Tap Multi window.
  4. Tap Split screen view action to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.

How to Use Multi window

  1. Ensure Multi window is turned on.
  2. From any screen, touch and hold the Recent apps icon Recent apps icon (lower-left; beneath the screen).
  3. Tap the Multi window icon Multi window icon (upper-right corner of app window) to open an app in split screen view.
    Note Recently used apps are displayed in the lower window.
    Note Apps that support Multi window have the Multi window icon Multi window icon in their title bar.
    Note If there aren't any recently used apps, or if you want to open a different app, tap App list.
  4. Tap an app in the lower window to add it to the split screen view.
