Samsung Galaxy Note9 - Manage Do Not Disturb Settings

Note Notes:

  • The Interruptions feature allows sound/vibration (for phone calls, messages, etc.) to be turned on or off as preferred.
  • Alarms are always considered priority interruptions.

 

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    Note These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Notifications.
  3. Tap Do not disturb.
  4. Tap the Turn on now switch to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
  5. Tap Turn on as scheduled.
    Note If the switch is turned on, perform the following:
    1. In the Days section, tap the preferred day of week indicators.
      Note Days are selected when circled.
    2. Tap Set schedule.
    3. From the START tab, set the start time.
    4. From the END tab, set the end time.
    5. Tap Done.
    6. Tap the Back icon Back icon to return to the previous screen.
  6. Tap Allow exceptions.
  7. Tap the following options to configure settings as preferred:
    • Alarms
    • Media
    • Touch sounds
    • Calls from
    • Messages from
    • Repeat callers
    • Event/task alerts
    • Reminders
  8. Tap the Back icon to return to the previous screen.
  9. Tap Hide notifications then tap any of the following to turn on or off:
    • Hide all
    • Don't turn on screen
    • No LED indicator
    • Hide app icon badges
    • Hide from notification list
    • Don't pop up notifications
    • Hide status bar icons
