moto z3 - Enable / Disable App

Some apps that come pre-installed (e.g., calculator, Google Play™ Store, Verizon Cloud, Call Filter, etc.) on your Android™ device can't be uninstalled; however, they can be disabled (turned off) so they don't appear in the list of apps on your device.

Note The option to enable or disable an app may only be available for apps that can't be uninstalled.

Enable App

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Apps & notifications Apps and notifications icon.
  3. Tap See all XX apps.
  4. Tap All apps Down arrow icon (at the top) then tap Disabled apps.
  5. Tap the appropriate app then tap Enable.

Disable App

Caution Disabling an app may cause related apps to function improperly.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Apps & notifications Apps and notifications icon.
  3. Tap see all XX apps.
  4. Tap an app.
  5. Tap Disable then tap Disable App.
    Note If the 'Disable' option isn't available, tap Force stop.
  6. Tap OK.
