Verizon 5G Home Router 1A - Backup / Restore Current Configuration

Here's how to back up and/or restore the current configuration of your Verizon 5G Home Router in case you need to restore settings to factory default for troubleshooting purposes.

Backing up allows settings, like Wi-Fi connected devices, to be automatically reconnected after settings are restored.

Backup

  1. Sign in to the Admin WebGUI.
    Note You must be connected to the 5G Home network to access the admin page.
  2. From the Settings panel, click the Arrow icon Right arrow icon.

  3. From Settings, click the Backup and Restore tab.
  4. From Backup, enter the Admin Password then click Download.
    Note The default password can be found on the bottom of the router.
  5. Save the 'config.tar.gz' file to a known location.

Restore

  4. From Restore Settings, enter the Admin password.

  5. Click Browse, locate and select the 'config.tar.gz' file. then click Restore Now.
