When a child device dials 911, existing call restrictions are subsequently disabled and must be reset via the
My Verizon website
or Verizon Smart Family app.
To perform the steps below, you need to:
ensure the Smart Family app is
on the parent device.
sign in using a
user ID or mobile number that has
Account Owner or Manager
ensure the child device is powered off prior to adding or removing blocks, restrictions, limits, etc.

From the '[Child] called 911...' prompt, tap
Previous limits and restrictions on calls are automatically restored.
