Verizon Smart Family™ - Apple® iOS - Restart Restrictions After a 911 Call

Note Notes:

  • When a child device dials 911, existing call restrictions are subsequently disabled and must be reset via the My Verizon website or Verizon Smart Family app.
  • To perform the steps below, you need to:
    • ensure the Smart Family app is installed on the parent device.
    • sign in using a My Verizon user ID or mobile number that has Account Owner or Manager access privileges.
    • ensure the child device is powered off prior to adding or removing blocks, restrictions, limits, etc.

 

  1. Open the Verizon Smart Family parent app.
  2. From the '[Child] called 911...' prompt, tap Take action.
  3. Tap Enable.
  4. Tap OK.
    Line note Previous limits and restrictions on calls are automatically restored.
