  1. From the front of the extender, view the Wi-Fi Link and Power LED status lights.

  2. Identify the following LED states:
    LED Color Operation Description
    Blue blinking LED indicator icon Wi-Fi link indicator Blinking Blue Not connected to a Wi-Fi router/ Ready for setup/ Other error
    Blue LED indicator icon Wi-Fi link indicator Solid Blue 5 GHz connection with the Wi-Fi router is connected.
    Blue blinking LED indicator icon Power indicator Blinking Blue Rebooting/ Starting up/ Software update.
    Blue LED indicator icon Power indicator Solid Blue Power On
    Black LED indicator icon Power indicator Off Power Off

Extender Rear

  1. From the back of the extender, view the available LED indicators.

  2. Identify the following LED states:
    LED Color Operation Description
    Blue blinking LED indicator icon WPS indicator Blinking Blue (slow) WPS setup is available for 2 minutes then it times out.
    Blue fast blinking LED indicator icon WPS indicator Blinking Blue (fast) WPS setup failed.
    Blue LED indicator icon WPS indicator Solid Blue Solid for 20 seconds, then turns off: Successful WPS setup.
    Black LED indicator icon WPS indicator Off WPS setup not in process. The light is off most of the time.
    Green LED indicator icon Ethernet indicator Solid Green An Ethernet device is connected to the Ethernet port.
