To change the data usage cycle on your device, view data usage and set data warnings and limits, view this info.
Notes:
- Data usage info provided by the device may differ from actual usage. For data usage info provided by Verizon, refer to the My Verizon website.

- To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Smart Family™.
- From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
- Navigate: Settings
> Network & Internet > Data usage.
- Tap Mobile data usage.
- Tap the Settings icon
then do one of the following:
- Change Data Usage Cycle:
- Tap Billing cycle.
- Set the date to match the first day of your billing cycle then tap SET.
Refer to the My Verizon website for billing cycle date.
- Set Mobile Data Limit:
Mobile / cellular data is disabled upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the red limit line. To continue to use apps that require a data connection (e.g., Browser, Email, Market, etc.), Wi-Fi can be used or the mobile data limit must be manually adjusted (overage charges may apply).
- Tap the Set data limit switch to turn on

If prompted, review the message then tap OK.
- Tap Data limit.
- Enter the desired data limit then tap SET.
- Set Mobile Data Warning:
A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the gray warning line.
- Tap the Set data limit switch to turn on

- Tap Data warning.
- Enter the desired warning threshold then tap SET.
