Palm - Manually Set Up Corporate Email (Exchange ActiveSync®)

  1. From a Home screen, touch and swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings app icon > Users & accounts Users and accounts icon.
  3. Tap Add account.
  4. Tap Exchange.
  5. Enter your corporate email address then tap NEXT (lower-right).
  6. Enter your password then tap NEXT.
  7. Ensure the appropriate info is entered into the following fields then tap NEXT:
    • Domain\Username
    • Password
    • Server
    • Port
    • Security type
  8. If presented with a 'Remote security administration' prompt, tap OK.
  9. Configure the account options (e.g., Sync frequency, Sync emails from, etc.) as necessary then tap NEXT.
  10. If presented with an 'Activate device administrator' screen, tap Activate this device administrator.
    Note Follow the on-screen steps to complete the applied security policy (e.g., Set up password, Device encryption).
    Note Device encryption can exceed 60 minutes.
  11. If desired, enter an account name then tap NEXT.
