View this info if you're not getting notifications for your personal email.
From a Home screen, touch and swipe up to display all apps.
Navigate:
Settings
>
Users & accounts
.
Tap an email account type (e.g., Personal (POP3), Exchange Active Sync, etc.).
Tap
Account settings
.
Tap the appropriate email account.
From the Notification settings section, tap
Email notifications
to enable or disable.
Enabled when a check mark is present.
Tap
Choose ringtone
.
Select a ringtone then tap
OK
.
Tap
Vibrate
to enable or disable.
Enabled when a check mark is present.
