Download and install the My Verizon app from the App Store®.
Tap Join Verizon.
From the 'Connect to Verizon easily with your eSIM' screen, tap Get started.
Tap Learn more about dual SIM for additional info.
From the 'First, let's confirm that your device is eligible' screen, enter your 15-digit Digital SIM IMEI number then tap Check eligibility.
If needed, refer to View Digitial SIM IMEI for instructions on how to find the IMEI on your iPhone.
If you receive a message that says 'Sorry, your device isn't eligible to join using eSIM', contact your carrier to verify if your device is locked.
From the 'Great, you're ready to join' screen, tap Let's go.
From the 'Your primary location' screen, enter your Zip Code or City and State then tap Confirm.
From the 'Great, choose your plan' screen, view available plan options then tap Select this plan.
Swipe left or right on the screen to view additional plan options.
From the 'Select phone number' screen, choose one of the following:
I want a new number
Choose an available number then tap Select.
From the 'Tell us about yourself' screen, enter the following info then tap Next:
First and Last Name
Billing Phone Number
From the 'Fill out your billing info' screen, enter the following info then tap Next:
From the 'Fill out your credit check info' screen enter the following info, agree to the Terms and Conditions then tap Run my credit check:
Social Security Number
Date of Birth
From the 'Now, create an account PIN' screen, enter and confirm your 4-digit PIN then tap Save my PIN.
From the 'Let's make sure everything looks good' screen, review the info and Verizon Wireless Customer Agreement then tap Confirm.
To continue, you must select that you have read and agree to the Verizon Wireless Customer Agreement by tapping the box.
Allow several minutes for the activation to complete.
From the 'Your order is complete' screen, review your monthly and activation charges then tap Next.
An email is sent to the email address entered during the setup process with the remaining activation instructions.
If necessary, refer to Add Cellular Plan.
If you're having issues activating your new line, contact Consumer Sales.
Transfer an existing number from another carrier
From the 'Input your phone number to confirm eligibility' screen, enter the number from your other carrier then tap Check.
From the 'Great, your number is available to use' screen, select Use this number then tap Next.
Enter the following info:
First and Last Name
Existing Mobile Number
Existing Account Number and Account PIN
To continue, review the Terms and Conditons and select I agree then tap Next.
Selected when a check mark is present.
