Hum by Verizon - Web Portal - Edit a Boundary Alert

Note Only the Hum primary account holder can edit a speed alert.

  1. Navigate to the customer web portal (www.hum.com).
  2. Click Sign in (located in the upper-right).
  3. Enter your username (email) and password then click sign in.
  4. From the Alerts section on the HUM Dashboard (located to the right of the map), click the Boundary tab.

  5. Click the Edit icon for the appropriate alert to be edited (located to the right of the alert name).

  6. Click the desired area on the map to set a boundary circle.
    Note If preferred, use the Search bar to enter an address or place name.
    Note Use the + and - buttons (located on the bottom-right of the map) to re-size the map.
  7. Enter a preferred name for the alert, (e.g., Billy leaving school).
    Note The name appears in the text of any alerts triggered.
  8. Select a specific mile radius in the Radius field.
    Note Boundary cannot be smaller than 0.1 miles.
    Note Use the + and - buttons (located on the bottom-right) to re-size the map.
  9. From the Notify me when my vehicle section, select the preferred option(s):
    • Enters a boundary
    • Exits a boundary
  10. From the Days to monitor section, choose one of the following:
    • Always on
    • Preferred days to monitor (Sunday - Saturday)
  11. Click save.
