Note Notes:

  • Data usage info provided by the device may differ from actual usage. For data usage info provided by Verizon Wireless, refer to the My Verizon website.

Caution Mobile data (cellular data) is disabled upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the orange limit line. To continue to utilize apps dependent upon a data connection (e.g., Browser, Email, Market, etc.), a Wi-Fi connection can be used or Mobile data must be manually re-enabled (overage charges may apply).

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Network & Internet Network & Internet settings icon.
  3. Tap Data usage Data usage setting icon then do one of the following:
    • Set Mobile Data Limit:
      Caution Mobile / cellular data is disabled upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the orange limit line. To continue to utilize apps dependent upon a data connection (e.g., browser, email, etc.), Wi-Fi can be used or mobile data must be manually adjusted (overage charges may apply).
    1. Tap Billing cycle then tap the Set data limit switch to turn on Switch on.
    2. Enter the preferred data amount (e.g., 2.0 GB) then tap SET.
    • Set Mobile Data Warning:
      Note A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the black warning line.
    1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
    2. Tap Alert switch to turn on Switch on.
    3. Enter the preferred data amount (e.g., 2.0 GB) then tap SET.
    • Change Data Usage Cycle:
    1. From the 'Mobile' section tap Billing cycle.
    2. Tap Billing cycle.
    3. From the 'Usage cycle reset date' prompt, select the cycle date then tap SET.
      Note Refer to the My Verizon website for the billing cycle date.
