Samsung Galaxy S10 - Reset All Settings

Restoring your device to default settings helps when the device crashes and resets itself or when apps freeze/hang or reset the device.

Caution Performing these steps resets all system settings (e.g. ringtones, sound settings, display settings, etc.) back to their default values. Personal data, such as downloaded apps and media (pictures, videos, music), aren't affected; however, the device automatically restarts in order to apply any changes.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
Note These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > General management > Reset.
  3. Tap Reset settings.
  4. Review the info then tap Reset settings.
Note If presented, enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  5. To confirm, review the info then tap Reset.
