Google Pixel 3a - Manually Add a Wi-Fi Network

Note Wi-Fi network info is required to complete several steps. Refer to the network admin for assistance.

  1. From a Home screen, touch and swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings app icon > Network & Internet Network and Internet icon > Wi-Fi Wi-Fi icon.
  3. Ensure that the Wi-Fi switch (upper-right) is turned on On icon.
  4. Tap Add network Add icon.
  5. From the 'Network SSID' field, enter the appropriate network name.
  6. From the 'Security' field, tap the Dropdown menuDropdown menu icon.
  7. Tap the applicable security option:
    Note If using an Open network (None), skip to step 10.
    • None
    • WEP
    • WPA/WPA2 PSK
    • 802.1x EAP
  8. If prompted, enter a username in the 'Identity' field.
  9. Enter the password into the Password field.
    Note To view the password as it is being entered, tap Show password (enabled when a check mark is present).
  10. Tap Advanced options Down arrow icon then ensure all additional settings (e.g. Proxy, IP Settings, etc.) are configured appropriately (if applicable) then tap Save.
