Samsung Galaxy S10 5G - Move Music Files from Device

Caution Only DRM free or unprotected music can be transferred via this method.

Note Notes:

 

  1. Connect the device to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
    1. If prompted to allow access to your data, tap Allow.
    2. If necessary, touch and hold the Status bar (at the top) then drag to the bottom.
      Note The image below is an example.

    3. From the Android system icon Android System section, ensure 'Transferring files' is selected.
      Note If necessary, select the current option (e.g., Charging phone only, Transferring images, etc.) then tap Transferring files.
  2. Open File Explorer or Windows Explorer.
    Note Using the computer keyboard, press Windows+E ( Windows key logo+E) keys.
    Note Alternatively, right-click Start then click 'Open Windows Explorer' or 'Open File Explorer'.
  3. Using File Explorer or Windows Explorer, navigate: Galaxy S10 5G > Phone > Music.
    Note Galaxy S10 is listed under the Portable Devices section.
  4. Utilize the computer to copy music files from the music folder to the desired location on the computer's hard drive.
  5. Disconnect the USB cable from the computer.
