Sonim XP5s® - Factory Data Reset (Powered On)

A factory data reset may help with a blank or frozen screen, apps crashing or freezing, keypad/touchscreen problems, can't hear, device making noises, can't make or receive calls, and device won't sync.

Caution Perform a factory data reset only if absolutely necessary as it removes all data including:

 

Note An alternate reset method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.

  1. From a Home screen, press the Apps tray button Apps tray button
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > System Settings icon > Reset options.
  3. Select Erase all data (factory reset).
  4. Select RESET PHONE.
    Note If presented, enter the PIN.
  5. Tap ERASE EVERYTHING.
    Note Allow several minutes for the factory data reset and reboot processes to complete.
    Note If applicable, set up device.
