Reset All App Preferences

 

Reset Individual App

Note This option resets app preferences and deletes all data for a single app.

  1. From a Home screen, press the Apps tray button Apps tray button.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Apps & notifications App & notification settings icon.
    Note Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.
  3. Select Apps info.
  4. Locate then select the appropriate app.
  5. Select FORCE STOP.
  6. Select OK.
  7. Select Storage.
  8. Select CLEAR DATA.
    Note This option may not be available for some apps.
    Note Resetting an app or clearing data storage may delete saved info within the app (e.g., calendar events may be lost).
  9. Tap OK.

Reset All App Preferences

Note This option resets all preferences for the following and app data isn't affected:

  • Disabled apps
  • Disabled app notifications
  • Default applications for actions
  • Background data restrictions for apps
  • Any permission restrictions

 

  1. From a Home screen, press the Apps tray button Apps tray button.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > System System settings icon > Reset options.
    Note Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.
  3. Select Reset app preferences.
  4. Select RESET APPS.
